I got a $50 Amazon Gift Card for Christmas from Meredith’s parents. It took me 2 months and 13 days to spend every cent of it. But I think I came away with some good books. Here’s what I got:
H. Richard Niebuhr, Christ and Culture. This is because of my fascination with the question he takes up, and my newfound obsession with both of the Niebuhr(s).

Vegan Cooking for Dummies. My lenten book for this year. It’s a cookbook and an explanation of how to vegan and healthy.
Immanuel Kant, Fundamental Principles Of The Metaphysic Of Morals. It’s a classic text in philosophical ethics and it’s fairly short.
Peter Gomes, The Good Book: Reading the Bible with Mind and Heart. I had heard of Gomes before his death about a week ago, but I had never read anything of his. I read the first chapter of this book and loved it. I’m looking forward to continuing reading it.
William Abraham, Crossing the Threshold of Divine Revelation. This book was fantastic. It’s one that I plan on reading again.
Bertrand Russell, The Problems of Philosophy. This is another classic philosophical text. A lot of my course work is taking up the question of skepticism so I thought it’d be interesting to hear the other side of the argument.
